The two most common inflammatory bowel diseases are ulcerative colitis and Crohn disease. Both disorders can present with diarrhea, weight loss, and abdominal pain. UC typically presents with bloody diarrhea. CD can also present with fistula formation, strictures, abscesses, or bowel obstruction.
